They're back and this year the gluten-free ones are so much better. I might even call them delicious! I cannot express how happy I am with this.

I am slightly confused as to how a cookie can be gluten free. Its basically made entirely out of gluten.

They make these with oats, which are gluten-free if processed in an uncontaminated facility. Yay! Other cookies can be made with other kinds of flour - like rice, tapioca, almond, etc.

Only wheat, barley, and rye have gluten.

I have yet to bump into anyone selling them, not in front of a grocery store, not a at a gun show, nowhere. Starting to get a little concerned - I need my Thin Mints fix, dammit!

I used to work for their counterpart organization, and I have to say, I'll take a delicious cookie over boring ass popcorn any day. As would most prospective customers, it would seem.

If you have celiac disease, yes. If not, it's up for heated debate.

My troop chose to forego the popcorn and, instead, sold Christmas greenery (live garland, wreaths, etc) to people. That actually worked out quite well.

The main benefit is that with the popcorn, there's no risk of getting stuck with surplus inventory and the profit margin is decent so you don't need as many sales. But, the cookies are definitely the superior product.
